Dia numero dos: A song that reminds you of your most recent ex-boyfriend.
This makes me laugh. I’ve had all of 2 boyfriends..besides my middle school days of falling in love as much as I changed my clothes. We’ll refer to the ex as “he whom shall not be named.” (My friends and I have a weird habit of referring to unfavorable boys with odd stuff like that) …any who, he’s the complete opposite of anyone I’d ever see myself with. Hence why the song is about a redneck heartbreak. A heartbreak it was not, but a redneck he is.
This song is just WAY more fun when you get the full effect…video and all. I did some serious jamming out to Britt Spears in my childhood. Tough tie between my lady and NSYNC.
